Yes that is our boat. The board on the far rack is my old board. I am riding on a newer Byerly 137 (Hyperlite) now. And yes, it is an absolute thrill. It is a lot harder to do any tricks than it looks.

Do you have any fat sacks?

Yes my husband plumbed in 2 fat sacks in the back storage compartments and wired them up on a switch ( much easier). The boat also has a hard center ballast system (where a ski locker normally goes) along with the wedge (that drops down in the back to create a fat wake).

Funny you ask. I think it is a little of both. After many failed attempts that result in faceplants, getting the breath knocked out of you, etc., it gets harder to get the courage to charge into the wake and throw your trick. Plus, I'm not in high school anymore- I know that I have to get up and go to work on Monday.

I have gained some strenths in my lats and quads this year, which I think will help me to just bear down and blast through the wake! Hopefully I get a backroll or a tantrum down this summer!

I know what you mean. I have never been on a boat with fat sacks, but I went for a superman once and basically layed out on the water. All I could do was lay there for a couple minutes before I got on the boat and called it a day. One of my problems was pushing down to hard on the top of the wake and was loosing alot of air. Once I started to go out of the wake let the rope slack and letting the rope retighten fling me into the wake and throw me up, I was doing better.

ah very nice. i wake board a ton. i will attach a few images.

my brother is on the wakeutah team. me and him share a boat. we have the MC XStar boat. love it. my favorite board right now is the 136 Hyperlite DNA Premier. having a family and kids has really slowed down my wakeboarding time.
