  • Well Shibby....Vince is Leaving...

Texas and entering the draft. I know you hate that but how do you think he will do in the draft and the NFL? With Houston having first choice and Vince being a hometown kid, I think they would be stupid not to draft him.

Well I would have liked him back at Texas for another year, but now I just hope he goes to a team I like.

:hmmm: I'm sure he will be gone before the Pack gets on the clock, or is there another team you pull for?

There's quite a few teams I like. I have never been a fan of NO or Ten so I hope they don't pick him up. I can root for him if he goes to Houston or Phoenix and maybe S.F.

Odds are Tennese is drafting him, perfect situation for him to learn though behind Mcnair.

Leinart will go to the Saints I think. I think the Texans will take Bush. Young will go to Tennesee. Jets take D'Brickshaw Ferguson. Houston will trade Bush to the Jets for Ferguson and draft picks, or possibly another O-lineman. Packers will take AJ Hawk, Raiders will take Mario Williams....after that I dunno....

Quarterbacks who run historically have had short careers from injuries. Theisman, Cunningham... Vick, McNair, McNaab this year were all injured... He may have been able to run over people in college, but I gaurantee you he won't do that in the NFL. He's a good passing quarterback too, so maybe he'll settle down and become like a bigger version of Steve Young. He was a good passer, but he could run when he had to.

all people talk about is his running skills. Is he or isnt he a "pocket passer?" The guy is an accurate passer from the pocket. He can deliever the ball. If you want to find a flaw there is an issue with the mechanics of his throw. He is going to have to make a change to his release to be effective in the NFL. Like Alex smith he has a low release point. It took Alex take some time to correct it. The low release point reduces appox. 6-8" off of the height of the release causing him to compensate by having to "lob" his passes. With that said he still may go first or second April 29.

                      .
