    Help -

I just recieved a ZIP file from one of my music professors and can only save it to WinRAR. This will open it in RealPlayer but I would like to save it to my MP3 which does not recognize a ZIP file. I have the IRiver set up and it only says that the file is in Non-Audio format. How can I change this?

    :hmmm:

download db poweramp music converter, unzip the file, and convert it to mp3.

Thanks for the download bro. However, once I downloaded it and clicked on the file I needed to be converted it sent me back to the internet to download a Codec to convert .zip files. Maybe it's just me but I don't see an available Codec download on the page it sent me to???

the WinRaR and Zip comment has nothing to do with what your trying to do. just confusing the problem.

What file extension are the files your trying to convert ".ram" ?

If so you need to convert .ram to .mp3
        as BLM stated.

If you file is a .ZIP extension already, you have to unzip it before you can convert it to another format.

Get PKZIP or WINZIP. They will both do it for you.

            New Problem...

Hopefully this isn't as complicated as I may think....

I recorded a live concert last night for one of my music classes and I need to edit the play times etc so that I can study the different songs without having to ff through the clapping and intermissions! I can't find any options to do this in Media Player or Real Player. What am I missing??????

what I used to do was use dbconvert to change it into a WAV file then from there use audio edit to cut out sections and save as sections of the WAV file.
