  • Mmmmm...BEEF!

    www.maverickranch.com

I've been using their ground beef, "Naturalite Beef 96/4" and it's fantastic. 4 ozs. has 130 cals, 40 from fat, 0 carbs; 22 grams of protein, 4.5 grams of fat. I use this to make soup mixed with 99% lean turkey breast and veggies, then put it in the fridge and any excess fat solidifies at the top and I scoop it off. It's like the beef equivalent to free range chicken and the taste is definitely superior.

I just paid $4.99/lb for the beef so it's not cheap, but I am really liking it.

When you go to the website, fill out the questionaire and get some coupons in the mail!

Thanks for the heads up Ms. P!
I highly recommend their products--very lean, great taste and natural.
I think this is the link you wanted!

      Yay...another Maverick Beef fan!

In the questionaire I told them I'd like to see them add some lean beef or chicken/turkey breast saussages.

Last night we made 2 kinds of ground beef, the ground round was tastier. I also made the bison sirloin and that was my favorite but hubby and the kid preferred the burger.
