      Dude, so sorry for you.

About 2 months after I moved to FL my childhood pet passed away. I have never, in my life, felt pain like that. Its harder with animals because they are so innocent. I still think about her all the time, but in a good way, I remember the fun we had when we were kids together, and all the shit that me and that dog got into.

I have had family member pass away several times as an adult and I can really say that nothing hurts like a childhood pet.

You will get over it though, I did, and now I have a new wonderful pet (a cat though) who is great! Check out this picture, I know it will make you laugh, if nothing else. :)

its still been hard. I went outside today and it feels empty. I would tell my other dogs to go to the side of the house and call her and they would go and bark at her to come over. But now, i tell them and they just sit there starring at me like telling me shes not there anymore.

Heres a pic of my youngest dog, shes actually the daughter of my dog that passed away. This one is 5 years old. Looks the same like my dog that died but the dog that died is more tan color. But they look alike big itme.
