Need help with an Algebra word problem.

Can you show your work - I am getting this back asswards trying to do it now...

.45x + .25(30-x) = 9.5

.45x + 7.5 - .25x = 9.5

.45x-.25x= 2

.2x=2 divide by .2

x=10.

:laughnew: Yep!!! I can remember Mrs. Kummer making come up and solve shit on the overhead and seeing her fingers and hands all covered in different colors from the dry-erase markers...they were all wrinkled and bony!!
