  • Working w/Pres Bush

Yesterday I installed an external wireless broadband pipe for the Port Authority of Tampa and and an internal wireless network as well. Well it turns out its for a "Securing America" speech that Bush is giving today. I had no idea. The media team turned around and asked me if I wanted to stick around today for the event in case of any issues. So I am sitting here w/a Seal of the Pres of USA clearance badge walking around like I'm someone important.... :laughnew:

The food they have set out for these people is overwhelming! :usausausa

I would never want to be in politics. This place is so insane right now! It's just something neat that I can say I was involved in.

Exactly! I'm a man of honor and integrity. I wouldn't fit into that web of deceit.

Yeah I ate food all day. They had 4 tables w/American food and 4 tables w/Hispanic food (I guess to be pc). It was actually a really cool and exciting experience. I was 20 ft away from the President while he was speaking. It was so much different seeing him in person. I couldn't believe how layed back security was. They asked me what was in my bag, I told them a laptop and some misc tools and they let me walk in. I did have an escort that said I was "ok" but he didn't know me either. I was just doing the work for them. Then while it was going on I would walk around and check on my Wi-Fi spots w/o any hassle at all. I took a few pics of Bush while he was speaking. I'll post them as soon as I pull them off of the memory stick.

                        Why doesn't this surprise me...

I guess they may have stepped up Bush's security if Cheney had been there :D....
