  • what music do you all listen to?

I don't mean just during your workouts. I love music and am always trying to find stuff I haven't heard yet or music that isn't played 100 times a day on the radio. I've read the old threads about workout music, but what music do you all listen to the rest of the time? What are your favorite groups or albums? Lately, I've been into old school stuff like Metallica's Black Album and classic rock, but I'm getting tired of the same old crap coming out of Nashville these days.

I've been listening to some old rage, tool and megadeth lately. It depends on what mood I'm in though.

Almost exclusively classical, although I do listen to jazz and some "popular" music by folks like Lyle Lovett or Bruce Springsteen, mainly in the alternative/folk genre. Basically, I like musicians who have put some thought and effort into song craftsmanship and musicianship.

Sounds like you're the man to ask. I've been trying to figure out who does the song on the movie "seven", when morgan freeman is in the library researching. They have some classical music playing. I've heard it before on other movies as well, but don't know what it is.

Yeah, the soundtrack says it's "Air from Suite No.3 in D major, BWV 1068" by J.S. Bach.

Eminem is stronger now than ever. His music appeals to all the young white kids. He's the jesus christ for white people in the rap industry. Even though he's getting beef from benzino, it's just making him stronger and hurting benzino and source magazine for that matter. I don't really care for eminem, but he is from detroit and he has done something right whereas everyone else has tried and failed.

ya, im not really into "singers". the only time i listen to music is when im in the gym and everything i listen too is music that gives me that, "unbreakable" feeling.

im sure classic music is very nice and I can understand why people like it. its just not for me.
