Nope! If I want to fellowship, I will goto church. Conversation...I can talk to myself. And for fun...I can log onto SM and try to annoy the hell out of FB! :nerdnew:

Isnt that like buying a friend? Are people so lame that they actually need to buy someone to talk to? lol. Fuck, I would pay people to stop talking to me. lol. I guess im not much of a people person.

I think everyone here knows that already. :laughnew: But I have to agree too...there are times I would just rather sit and talk with my dogs than people!

i can't imagine paying... I am with Bouncer... sometimes I'd like to pay people to NOT talk to me... lol

I don't have a lot of extra time and people always seem to want to have these long drawn-out conversations with me... they must feel I am easy to talk to.

We all pay in some form.

IMO human nature lacks benevolence and hence “friendship” only arises when needed. Thus payments in actions, knowledge or materialistic goods seems to be what hold society together.

I am not much of a people person.

so how would you address the comment that humans are naturally "societal beings?"

                    Based on what?

No offense intended, but many of your comments seem to be made with the only motivation being to make yourself seem intelligent. We all realize that you are interested in the negative aspects of the human psyche. However, you redundantly post negative whiny things in response to every type and color of thread. You always seem to bring it back to your particular philosophical outlook (which seems to be motivated by your intrest in being taken as depressed, rather than any informed thought process), regardless of what the original post was regarding.

Again, I am just stating this because it is clear that you are macabre, but please move on and contribute in other ways. Or perhaps we should arrange it so that you have an emo kid as your avatar.

Since "friendship" only arises when needed, i am guessing you are neglected in the "friend" area.

                            Machiavelli and Plato.

                            No offence taken.

Firstly my philosophical outlook is not motivated by depression (fortunately an illness from which I do not suffer) but rather from texts that I have read and from observations of society.

My main aim here is to partake in Bodybuilding discussions; I do not intend for my posts to be whiny, and I apologize for them seeming that way.
