Kimbo's New Fight?

Hes entirely too old to just be beginning any knd of training.... wouldnt stand a chance in any real fight. .

They say he's only 29 and he seems tough. Who knows what could happen if he'd end up training with the right people and not that goof troop bunch that are always in the videos.


His boxing did look better in the latest fight though and he fought 2 guys back to back.....granted neither good fight for shit, but he still went 2-0 in 7 minutes.

I think you guys are giving this guy too much credit... he beats up on bums and people think he's invincible. Sean Gannon, A C-level fighter at best, took it to him under "street fighting" rules (what an oxymoron). Kimbo trains with the Freestyle Fighting Academy, but will never appear in a MMA sanctioned event, and if he does, it would be ugly.

Nothing against the guy, Id like to see him in something like King of the Cage but even then, any trained MMA fighter would submit him in a matter of seconds.

Kimbo Slice (born c. 1976) is a Miami, Florida-based underground street fighter. He has appeared in five full-length bare-knuckle fights available through the internet and P2P file-sharing networks.

Kimbo works as a bodyguard for the pornographic VIP and MILF Hunter productions. Rolling Stone stated his age at 30 and declared him "The King of the Web Brawlers".[1]

One of Kimbo's most well known fights is a September 2003 encounter with Sean Gannon[2] a Boston police officer who trains in MMA, in which Gannon defeated Slice in a grueling war. Kimbo Slice and his team would argue (as they did during the filming of the fight) that Gannon cheated by using a guillotine choke as well as knee strikes, MMA moves they considered outside of the rules of a typical bareknuckle brawl. However, it was Kimbo who shot in on Gannon's legs, after being stunned by several landed punches from Gannon. In the video, Kimbo's team can be seen stopping the fight several times and visibly upset by both instances, with spectators yelling "No knees, motherf**ker!"[citation needed] Gannon would later post on the mma.tv "UnderGround" message board that while kicking and ground moves were against the rules, choking and knees were never included in the agreed upon set of accepted moves by Kimbo's team. Due to the popularity of the video and despite Gannon's physical appearance after the fight**, the UFC signed Gannon to a 1 fight deal..which he lost against Brandon Lee Hinkle, former national level collegiate wrestler, who was now training with Marc Coleman's Hammer House.

I don't think anyone necessarily gave him credit. I know if I came off that way I didn't mean to. See posts 5 and 8 of this thread to see where I rank him lol.
