i got 2 questions for this cause i too got LimeWire. Sorry Shibby, since it was a Limewire thread I thought of adding it to this one to not create another one.
1). everytime im downloading a song, lets say im downloading like 6-7 songs, then all of a sudden my FIREWALL thing pops out saying like : tx.rr.com Attack. Another one that says your computer had been attacked DDos (denied service).
2). Also, before i had like 3k songs on it but i had to restore the whole thing cause of some virus that messed it up. I Just re-started downloading again, im pretty close to 600 songs now. If every week or 3 days, i change them to another folder can they still detect them. ON MY THINg I put not to share any music and dont have files on the thing to share.
I ask cause my sisters friend's cousin recieved a lawsuit thing about 2 years ago. I dont know if its true but fuck wouldnt want that.

I don't think they can see the files you have on your computer, but they can see all of your download history. Everything you do is being watched.Originally posted by JUICE2). like lets say they have busted people in the past and revent. Do those people get busted because they are sharing or can they adjust setting to not share and still get canned.

Doesn't matter if they're sharing or not, it's all about whether they are downloading. They were busted because they were downloading not because of sharing. It's only ok to download if you already own or have paid for the material that you're getting.Originally posted by JUICElike lets say they have busted people in the past and revent. Yup, after a while, all them downloads you do pile up. You lose track and then all of a sudden, you're on the FCC's list. Might as well just pay the $15 per month for unlimited downloads. It's like buying 1 cd a month, but getting a bunch more songs.Originally posted by JUICEyeah thats what i didnt understand. So either way ur screwed.

Then why isn't there some type of disclaimer or something on the website?? And why wouldn't it be shut down like the Napsters of the world??? Their whole appeal is that it's "shared music". Therefore, I thought it's just a bunch of peeps with all kinds of different songs on their computer allowing others to download.
