So is there something you find in the dark versions of philosophy? Wouldn't bodybuilding be a huge step towards conformity? Also how can you go to the gym and give the energy needed if you live a life of cynicism?

Don’t confuse modern goths with the ancient Goths who were part of dominate culture bound by a religious system. Modern goths are held together by the affinity for the macabre and not necessarily by the occult.

I feel that the term “goth” has become bastardized and is now simply based on the fashions of the subculture and commercialized music rather then similarities in emotions, political standpoints etc. Trends have made the modern definition obscure and complex.

I still tend to follow some elements of the goth subculture such as romanticism. I am obsessed with the act of creation and the appreciation of the arts. The morbid has always stirred my emotions, I only consider myself gothic in thought and not in a superficial level which is starting to dominate youth culture today.

I do not limit myself to the dark version of philosophy, but keep my perceptions open in order to seek greater wisdom.

I am still a child and have a lot to learn. I hope what I said is coherent, its 4am and I must rest.

So you are more into the suave and sophistications of the Vampire, withouth the vamipiric like practices?

Sorry if I'm butchuring your beliefs. I am just trying to get a better understanding. The goth I knew before would talk bad about goans(I think it is) and mallgoths and one of her favorite bands was skinny puppy. She also had a coffin for a coffee table.

To a certain extent, I don’t limit my thoughts. I tend to follow the philosophical path; this path as I mentioned earlier is simply to do with the appreciation of the arts rather then the physical practices and rituals.

I do not follow “The Vampire Bible”, “The Satanic Bible” or any other of that sort, but simply seek ideas from them into which I incorporate into my life. I don’t limit myself to the morbid but seek knowledge from the ancient thinkers (Plato, Machiavelli, Locke, Hobbes…)
