  • Just got a Mac.

I just got me a Mac Powerbook G4 on sat to test drive for a month or so to see if i wana buy me one. I have got to say that if the next couple weeks go as well as the last few days have Im never gona touch a PC again. This computer is 2-3 years old, and still runs great, plus everthing just works there is none of the PC bullshit. :bravonew: Infact if i wasnt wanting to wait on Apple to come out with more intel chips i would prob order one right now.

If any of you are thinkin of trying out a mac i would def go for it.

I went to my nearest Apple store last Saturday. I came home and put my pc on Ebay that night. I can't wait to get my new mac. After playing with that mac for over an hour I realized how boring Windoze is.

You're gonna miss the "left click/right click" lol.

I'm not a big fan of that particular operating system, not because it is bad, but because I just don't feel like learning another operating system.

Hopefully by the time Microsoft comes out with another version of windows they will have put more thought in it and present a better product (with less malfunctions) than previous versions.

wrong... the new '06 mac mice look like a one click, but depending on the side you click on they are a left/right feature just like thr PC's

I've been on mac's my whole life. They've always been extrememly easy to use and work really well. You'll also love that you don't have to worry about computer viruses anymore... I've gotten 1 in 10 years. I'm a graphic designer and we've always been mac. YEA!

like dreamgirl said, anyone in the graphic design industry uses a mac. mac's are used mostly in video editing, music mixes, editing, graphics, and so on. if thats what you need it for then yes, a Mac is better. but for simple internet browsing which is all i do, i find windows to be easier.
