Bad News

Saturday night I went into labor...obviously way too early for it to live. I think somehow there was an infection in the placenta since my white blood count was high. We were blessed in the fact that she had died a day or so prior to me giving birth.

This is a very difficult time for us, and any support, thoughts, or experiences would be much appreciated. We are obivously very saddened byt his since we were having a hard time getting pregnant. The doctor is testing the placenta to make sure there isn't a chromosomal abnormality with one of us. My doctor just thinks it was some fluke thing, since the baby was absolutely perfect...doesn't make it better.

IT's just a huge setback.

WOW...Sorry to here that. My wife and I went through problems getting pregnant and even a miscarriage. It was hard on me, but VERY hard on her (as I'm sure it is with you). My prayers are with you.

OMG, I literally am crying as I sit here reading this.
I know i don't post that much but RS I have read every single piece of advice that you have given, and feel that I know you personally.
You have shown such great strength and determination, how something so terrible can happen to such a good person, I will never understand it.
Its going to take you a long time to get over this, if ever and my thoughts are with you at this traumatic time.
I wish there was something that I could do or say to make the pain go away, but time is the only healer.
I hope that you both get through this and that you know there a so many people here on the board who care about you and would do anything to help you.
Be strong, and thank you for making me who I am today.
