I appreciate your post Mindstar, that’s just the info I was looking for.

I already have my Rescue Diver certification, 60 completed dives and a first aid cert. What’s left now is the course, it sounds like its well worth it.

I feel the same call, I have always lived in the tropics, but for the past 2 years I had to deal with the harsh Torontonian winter.

Thanks for the recommendation, wreck diving has always been my favorite. Next time I am in the area I will defiantly go for it.

      Do you dive as well?

Nope... just an armchair diver, but I'm a history and geography buff, so I know a lot of useless facts about unusual and out of the way places, lol....

I dont think so. Dave posted these low rez pictures on BN, check his site for some amazing photographs.

Sounds like a good show, what location were they featuring?

You know, I have always been in love with the sea.... would have gone into the merchant marine if I hadn't decided to go to engineering school instead.

I have always wanted to go scuba diving, but my wife lives in mortal dread of water and I hate to do things that she cannot participate in as well, so I have resigned myself to just live vicariously through the diving exploits of others!

                  That’s reasonable.

I am sorry but now I will exploit more of my water based adventures in hopes that you will someday help her to overcome her mortal dread of water so you will be able to fulfill your love for the sea.

SoS...you should come out west and dive here before you return to the tropics...it's cold as hell but Jaques Cousteau rated our waters as second best in the world! Awesome pics BTW...and go for the DM, it's a really fun job.
