    My son was hitting buttons on my keyboard and now I can't fix what ever he did :) My toobar on the bottom is also on auto-hide, but I don't have it selected to do that.

    I did that once bro - I honestly can't remember exactly what I did but I think I hit ctrl, alt, and delete and it popped up a screen that allowed me to select the program that I wanted to end. Once I went back into the IE it was back to normal...

    This was a while back though so I can't remeber exactly....

      I tried shutting everything down, but it didn't put it back to normal. I know it's something easy, but I can't remeber what.

        The weirdest thing just happened. I opened up a second page to look something else up and now it's fixed. I didn't press anything either. Oh well, I'm happy now.

          Well shit. Every other web page I open page I open now is still messed up. If I right click and open a link in a new window, it comes up normal. My lower tool bar is also off auto-hide on the pages that are working normaly.

            Sorry bro - I remember fixing it but I can't recall how...

            This is a time when you need phone numbers for people like BLM etc :D....

              I'm grasping for straws here but try alt+V and this should bring down the "view" menu and then you can select "view toolbars" etc...

                  Try this,

                  Restoring Your Default Settings
                  Click on Tools->Internet options...->Advanced tab

                  *At the bottom of the window their will be a Restore Defaults button.

                  Click the Restore Defaults button.

                  *Click the OK button. Close and open IE.

                  This should restore the Internet Explorer default settings.
