  • What do you wear...

    ...to the gym.

First off, I lift at a "health club" which kinda sucks but its close to home and work so I deal with it. I usually wear sweat shorts and an old t-shirt to the gym but I've been noticing that the t-shirt can get in the way a little and bunch up when I do rows and things. I see the guys wearing cutoff sweatshirts and sweatpants, the goofballs in the wifebeaters and designer workout pants with their cellphones.
So what do you wear and why? I want to be the most comfortable and most efficient without, if possible, looking like a tool.

Oh and Rado, I know its probably Gucci or Kavali but thats not in the budget until I finish law school. :laughnew:

I always wear some sort of athletic or wind type pants. Except when I do shoulders, I wear a white t-shirt. I don't care to have to think about what I'm wearing to the gym that day. On shoulder days I wear either a gray or white shirt that's cut off at the shoulder.

C'mon guys, if you want to get big you have to wear lumberjack shirts with the sleeves cut off, daisy dukes cut really, really short, and work-boots. And don't forget the bandana and sunglasses. Don't you guys read FLEX?

I do wear workboots though, I feel a lot more comfortable squatting in them than in sneakers...I also love my workboots, and wear them just about everywhere

I work at a bar, and on some nights when it's messy behind the bar, or when food is spilling, I don't have to worry about my shoes

Black tank and shorts/pants. When I am the gym my only concern are weights.

If some brat comes in his Prada shoes and D&G top I could care less unless of course he is doing bicep curls in the squat rack while reading some trend magazine, then all hell breaks loose.

i was wondering if one of you could bring back the daisy duke running shorts! with these long short these days all you can see are my poor excuse for calfs. if the lil shorts were in style i could wear them and you could see the hard work i have put in on my legs! and maybe not notice my lil calfs.
