  • Hug a loved one today because tomorrow you may.....

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncw/news/story?id=2400335

Coach Maggie Dixon, who at age 28 led the Army women's basketball team to its first NCAA Tournament berth last month, died after suffering heart arrhythmia.

    -----------
People die all the time unexpectedly, but something about this story touched me deeply. Here was this lovely young woman, undeniably successful, a budding superstar in the coaching arena, having the best weeks of her life with a trip to the NCAA tournament where her whole family came to watch, and then just like that, she keels over with a heart arrythmia and dies.

I have always made it my credo to never go to bed bearing grudges or with anything but pleasant thoughts in my mind, because who knows, I may not wake up.

So, today, I am going to hug my kids a few extra times before bed. Life is short as it is and one often has no control over one's checkout time, so to be at peace with the world at all times is to me very important.

Great post, I try being as close as possible with the people I love everyday since you never know when they or you could leave. Always value your time on earth and with your loved ones.

I have learned that you never know what tomorrow will bring, so I live each day as if it were my last.
Some people may think I am mad trying to achieve so many things all the time, but you just never know.
It seems like the most precious, caring, hard working people die suddenly and yet the scum keep wandering the earth.
        Life's too short.
That's my life motto, unfortunately I have had to learn that lesson the hard way having lost some of my best friends in the world before we were twenty.
