    Has anyone seen the "Alexander the Great" episode on the military channel. It was just onthe other night. Damn he was a bad ass...conquered the entire known world by the age of 26! Defeated the Persian army when he was outnumbered 250,000 to 45,000!

        Yep, I watched it a week or so ago. He was a brilliant Leader. He and his men rendered the chariots useless by creating the "U" formation. The horse would never run into a flat wave of spears and such but if you create a U of men the horse will run into the center were it can be defeated. After that chariots were never used again.

          Wow, I love that kind of stuff. Wish I still had cable :(

            Absolutely! If the education system would use material that is presented the way it is on these channels students would be much more interested and retain much more information. I was just thinking about this the other night when Iwas watching the 'Marine Sniper' program. The music they use and the filming makes all the difference. If you took the same shit and put it to dull music, narration, etc...it wouldn't be near as entertaining.
            I took a history class this last semester and the proffessor showed us a lot of documentaries from ths History Channel. He would show us short clips and it was way better than any history class I took in high school. I think that these videos will be used more in education in the future, and it's for the better.
