    YTD 2-2

    Texas -128
Yesterday they had too much offense for Tampa at home, and Fossum was a dead duck... Now Oakland limps into town having lost 4 of 5... They are banged up, with injuries to Street and Bubba... Blanton's last 2 starts have been utter disasters, giving up 21 hits in 10 innings... Texas is NOT where you want to go when you are in bad form... He has a good low 90's fastball and good slider, but something is clearly wrong with him and like I said, I don't think at Texas is the place to get it right... Young/Texeira/Nevin/Blalock is murder, and the lefty Blalock is 5-for-11 against Blanton with two doubles and a HR... Millwood going for Texas, and he just shut down Oakland with ease last week... He is now 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA in three starts against Oakland in his career... If he keeps the ball DOWN, which can be his weakness, he should handle Oakland with his slider, sinker, and fastball... Texas comes streaking in having won 6 of 7... The pen got some rest today... All in all, I like the setup of this game at an extremely cheap price for a surging Texas team at home... Besides, Chuck Norris was Walker, Texas Ranger... And Chuck Norris doesn't associate himself with anything that loses

That being said, how do you think Oakland fares in the rest of the series? I think their front end of the rotation is a whole lot stronger than Texas' top-3...we'll see, I'll keep my eyes on this one, just for you Tinfish

I will probably be on Zito tomorrow versus Padilla assuming I still get plus money on him. Probably will get around +105.

Oakland has only averaged 4.8 runs a game the last 5 and havent scored over 5 in any of them. These 2 teams played each other in Oakland 2 weeks ago with Texas winning 2 out of 3 games by scores of 6-3, 4-5, 5-3

Tinfish, what's the line on the rest of the Flyers/Sabres series? Somebody only played 2 periods of hockey today, apparently...

Blanton had a pretty good game, what can you say...that's baseball
