I could see where you MAY be coming from but the idea is way off base with a synthol abuser.

The public views bodybuilding (at least the top tiers) as a VERY strange sport and can't understand a persons desire to be as muscular as possible. Female bodybuilders catch even more hell for the choices they make in regards to their bodies.

Those are the types of things where people can go against the grain and I can respect. Not synthol abuse etc...

Not guts. It's the simple fact that ignorance is bliss...plain and simple.

I will give my example of admiration and that's Lebron James. He has had a difficult few years and is coming up for free agency. As much speculation about him changing teams to go for a championship, he has not entertained the idea. Granted he is an Ohio native, but he is willing to stick it out and battle to make the Cavs the team they can be.

            :bravonew: I agree.

I read his interview on T-nation and I can’t stand his attitude and blatant lies; to be honest I always skipped his MD column.

I found this interesting it sounds like just a serious cry for attention, good or bad:
“T: Do you think you motivate people?
GV: No, I think I disgust people. I get rotten e-mail from all over the world from people that tell me I suck, I look like shit, I ruined my physique… Then again I do get people who are awed by it, the fact that I'm a freak. Anyway, I know I disgust people. I know I'm the laughing stock of bodybuilding. I know that and that's okay with me. “http://www.t-nation.com/findArticle.do?article=211hate

Well at least he knows his place. But for those people who are in awe by his freakishness only see the absolute size of his arms. They don't look at porportion, asthetic, or what it takes to get something truly impressive. It brings me back to this thread...http://www.superiormuscle.com/vbulle...hlight=synthol

I guess the reason for my admiration of him was purely out of pity. I no longer feel the same way after having read his columns and interviews.

I am glad he doesn’t consider himself as a bber but the media associates him with bodybuilding which in turn gives the public an even worse opinion of the art.
