OMG- I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
It's on Wed @ 9pm CST, and it's absolutely fantastic. Basically they started out w/ 16 chef's, I think; and one gets eliminated each week. There is a panel of judges of course, 1 top chef, a girl from Food and Wine mag, and a guest judge.. There are 2 challenges: 1) Quick Fire, and 2) Elimination. In the beginning, whoever won the Quick Fire got immunity. Like one week they had $20 and 30 min to go into a Mobil convenience store and come up w/ dish to make. Then for the Elimination challenge, which is bigger proportion.
Like tonight there were 5 chefs left. They all had 30 min to come up w/ a dish to a couple getting married. The couple then chose the best dish/food for their wedding....that was 16 hours away!!!
It's just really clever w/ the twists and I love how all these chefs from around the world come up with such magic in little time
