Clothes dryer knowledge?

So my dryer (electric) runs but there's no heat. It's a pretty old dryer and I can't find a reset switch. Is it possible that what ever produces the heat is broke? Oh and it's GE brand if that makes a difference.b

Well, I guess I should have said check the heating element first. After that you might just need a new one if you don't know how to fix the other stuff.

(A heating element at a hardware/Home Depot etc will be fairly cheap)

I wouldn't know where to find a heating element :) My grandfather is coming in town thursday, he probably knows how to do it.
