I agree. I like them both but don't count Royce out. I'm not making a prediction, but when a guy fights men 100lbs heavier and takes them down and submits them, its gotta count for something.

I just think a lot of people believe that the old schoolers are no longer capable of hanging in the ring with the up and comers. I do believe this is true in a lot of cases, but not when it comes to Gracie. I might be wrong, but if Gracie can't hang then all of the old schoolers need to hang it up. O well, I have a ton of respect for both fighters and I think that they have lots of respect for each other. No matter what people think, we're going to find out soon enough. I'm just hoping for an entertaining fight either way. May the best man win!

Hughes is freakishly strong. He's usually 190lbs normally so of course he's going to have a big strength advantage on the guys who are normally 169lbs. I knew his power was going to be a factor. Hughes is just too damn good right now. Can't wait for the st. pierre rematch though.

that will be a bad ass fight. You have to remember that Royce was fighting when there was no weight classes so there is no excuse for him. he is just out dated.

True. Plus back when royce was fighting, no one really knew about submission. But now that everyone is aware, everyone has built up their submission defense. Royce is no longer a diamond in the rough, he's not a master of an unknown fighting style anymore. But yet he still clings to only knowing that. He just can't survive in mma like that anymore.

Just so you know, not everyone makes that kind of money. My friend is on Ultimate Fighter 3 and is a UFC fighter now and he doesn't make even CLOSE to that much. I have another friend who is in the UFC, Mike Whitehead and he makes shit for money and he is a decent fighter. He was on Ultimate Fighter II, he got throttled.

You know Whitehead.... tell me he is a better fighter than he showed on the Ultimate Fighter 2. I mean he was suppose to be a golden boy and then came out and froze. I would like to see him fight again.
