Name some nice beach hotels around destin?

Just graduated so looking to go somewhere in Florida on the beach. I said Destin but could be Pensacola or even Panama City Beach.


Haven't started working so I'm not looking to spend a lot of money just want to sit on the beach and have a good time before I start working. I've looked at a lot of the web pages for hotel rating and what not but I was hoping I could hear some of your own experiences too.

< $150 per night (4 nights or so) could care less if it's during the week or weekend (know the week is usually cheaper).


Like I said, we are both just graduating in Chemical Engineering and I don't start work till July and she's going to law school in august. Not looking for something costly just a few days away on the beach!

It's a little more expensive than you stated but there are cheaper alternatives for this particular condo. I ended up staying there when I was down there for my show and it WAS NICE...

Well that price was considering a 1 BR type deal with just me and the girlfriend but hell you can double it and that would be fine, I just have to find another couple that is free and also wants to go on vacation.

Well, there are many other places to stay as well but if you're looking for nice, that is one of the better places IMO. However, a few years ago I used to go there all of the time and you can stay at some decent places for cheap if you look around enough...

haha nice to see another engineer who does something besides problem sets. I'm an electrical major.
