  • Talking about marathon. This guy is crazy :)

In a good way...I think :hmmm: :nerdnew:
I just finished reading his book, and I am blown away. This guy is insane. This september he's gonna attempt to run 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days. He just finished running 350 miles non stop. Here are couple of links.

If the guy can pretty much push himself as far as he wants, I wonder if it's possible for him to literally run himself to death. That must be a concern when you're running 350 miles consecutively. I've heard of this guy before...the part where he was sleeping while running. That's crazy.

He orders pizza from places he's gonna be coming up on (during his runs) and eats while running, lol.... He's insane!

Yeah! and don't forget the cheese cake. :)
In the book he says he started to run out of things that challenged him so he decides to run a marathon in south pole. And he does it. It was something like 50 below during the run he says.

I followed the link in the story and it talks about him having to ingest 40000 calories and nine gallons of liquid during the race. He is not human.

Holy shit!! I guess he's not human! Damn!! I guess when you run the distances he runs, it comes down to willpower more than anything.

Yeah I have met him. Had him sign a copy of his book. It was at the expo before the LA Marathon in March. He did an hour or so lecture and then did the meet and greet.

              Nice guy.
