I get goose bumps every time they show this story. I just wish there was a bit more thanks and appreciation for the coach. He's a hero in his own right for putting his faith in Jason McElwain and changing his life forever. :bravonew:

I saw him on the sidelines of the NBA Final game last night.
There are lots of film companies trying to make the story into a movie right now. It's easily one of the most amazing sports stories I've ever had the privlege of seeing. -

they were up 20 points... and didn't have much to lose... which takes nothing away from the "amazingness" of what took place. a company involving magic johnson has bid for and won rights to the movie... look for it soon.
in the meantime, jason has been able to meet the president, has gotten to see the finals court-side, in short, he's been given the opportunity of a lifetime. he DESERVED it.
This is the one time that I don't mind to see the commercialization of an incredible feat by someone less fortunate. it's heartwarming, and incredible. I also get goosebumps when i see the video.Comment

I'm glad that this kid was allowed to play for the short time that he did. Because of him, Autism will, hopefully, have some much needed light shed on it.
