ya, definitely. im not sure if it happened in your area too, but here in LA there was a whole rash of attacks on Sikhs--members of an Indian religion who wear turbans--because the attackers thought they were Arabs.

Not that I noticed but to tell you the truth I dont think I paid much attention to that side of things. I'm north of San Francisco so there isnt near the diversity as a place like LA.
