Where's your ideal living area (city, suburb, country,etc...)

See my mom lives in the sticks like that and off dirt roads. It takes 15 minutes to even get to the local Bait and Feed. But that store only has little stuff you might need to pick up last minute (e.g. mustard, soap, toothpaste, napkins...). I live in a small city that has one main road and it takes about 10 minutes to drive across. It's about 30-45 minutes to the closest real city with a mall and stuff. We have a wal-mart so it's quite enough for me and something I would look for. But it's still kind of the beaten path.

I want about 50-100 acres right in the same area im in now. But I really want to be able to travel. I want to be able to take a month off here and there and go to rome, london, paris, new zeland, japan, egypt ect. I really love this area though dont think i could ever stand to live in a town with a city hall.

those kind of coments allways crack me up. I guess its just how ive grown up but I dont think anything about driveing 30-40 min to go anywhere
