    Anybody watch this?

I thought it was a bit of a dissapointment but I was glad Silvia retained his crown from Arlowski.

The Ortiz Shamrock fight was over too soon and even though I agree with the ref stopping it there, it was clear that Shamrock was fine and would probably have wethered that first assault from Ortiz, so I'd like to see them fight again.

The lightweights were good and I was chuffed that Joe Stevenson made it through, his ground and pound has gotten better so he'd not just a wrestler anymore.

    Thoughts anyone

Yeah it was rather uneventful. As far as rules go, the ref did his job correctly, but it really sucked to see it end so fast. Ortiz landed 8-10 crushing and unblocked elbows. I watched a post fight interview on sherdog.com and Tito's elbow was lumpy and swollen from Ken's face and head so you know they had to do some initial damage.

Sylvia and Arlowski's fight was flat out boring. It could have gone either way, but Arlowski didn't do anyting to justify taking the belt.

Frank Mir looked like a fat turd...but he won.

The Stephenson fight was bloody at least :)

I'm looking forward to Chuck Liddell and Renato Sobral fighting in August. It would be even better if they put Ortiz and Shamrock 3 on the card too.

Shamrock needs to give it up. He's lost 5 of his last 6 fights. He's not in the same league as these young guys anymore. Its a shame, he was one of the greats - but another good reason he should get out of it.....

Yeah he's washed up. He has the aggression until he gets smashed in the face then it's ''watch Ken get his ass kicked time!''

          LOL

what about Wanderlei, he and Lidel were squaring up as if Babalu was already a done deal.

BLM, I agree about Frank Mir, yeesus they were just falling all over each other, I know its easy to be an arm chair expert but Mir looked as if he'd hardly done any cardio prep at all, both physique and stamina wise.

I'd like to see Jeff Monson take the heavyweight belt, I love seeing him beat the taller guys LOL

Not sure about Wanderlei and Chuck squaring off, but I would love to see them fight. Wanderlei is a beast.

Quinton Rampage beat the shit out of Chuck in Pride back in '03. Then Wanderlei absolutely crushed Rampage.

61 was very uneventful nothing great, but anyway in my opinion Shamrock is done stick a fork in him, give it up man your just too old. And wanderlai verses Chuck Liddell would be awesome, I think the Iceman will finally get some competition in UFC.
