i remember you making a few post about that. i wondered to myself, "what could be so bad". but now i know. its hard to put into words what it is exactly. there just comes a point where you absolutly know that this isnt the right thing for me.

Originally from South Jersey/Philly area. Lived around the Newark area for the last few years though. When we move back it will be a little north of Newark close to NYC. Sana's will most likely work in the city.

Not sure to be honest. Thought it would be a nice change, cheaper cost of living and so on..

Sana tells me "im too jersey" to live anywhere but jersey. she dosent think i would be happy anywhere else. Florida may just have to be reserved to vacations and such.

Dont get me wrong, I do love nature very much. The place we lived before we moved here was pretty much right on the highway in jersey. believe it or not, the sounds of cars driving by was actually soothing. it was a big change to hear dead silence when we moved here.

and yes, sana wants to move back too all though she wont admit it, she sure isnt fighting the idea of moving back.

Hopefully in the next few months once we sell the house we will be going back to jersey. Once that happens you guys can all welcome back the old bouncer. You know, the one with the attitude. :D
Didn't you guys move there for her job? Was it jsut a sort of "put your time in, and then you can transfer anywhere" type of arrangement?

well, you did give it a shot

i'm a jersey boy and it took me 20 years just to understand texans, lol, let alone feel comfortable, lol

fwiw, jersey is more rural than folks realize, there's a high concentration of folks near nyc etc. yet once you get past that, it's rural, i think jersey has the highest concentration of horse farms in the country believe it or not, and the largest cranberry farms in the country and let's not for get the Bessey the Jersey Cow, she's not famous for nuttin, lol

                        good luck

ya, i gave it a shot.

as far as the horse farms, maybe you lived in a different area but i dont think i have ever seen a horse farm in jersey. maybe all the farms are in the center of the state? i know north and south jersey like the back of my hand. i couldnt tell you much about the far north of jersey past NY though. where are you from in jersey?

My father is from Jersey. Denville to be specific. His family lived in a lakeside community.
