Most of us on this board, I assume, are W.A.S.P.'s, and middle classed. Which means we pay the most and get the least for our tax dollars, while the government laughs at us for being so docile and stupid, yes, we're stupid for putting up with all their shit.

I would agree with this, but I'm not even middle class. I actually fall below the pauverty line for my household. But the problem is, is my wife is not a citizen or perminant resident. So she dosn't count for anything as far as the govenment is concerned. On top of that I can't petition to be her sponser to make her a permanant resident, becasue I don't make enough money. So I'm getting screwed every which way.

Oh brother, you can bet the farm on that!! If he were around today and still proclaiming the views he had when we were just becoming a new country, he would have been thrown UNDER a prison somewhere and the key melted down!! That's the problem now with trying to do something good for the country by spouting off about real change---as you say, you'd be labeled a traitor or worse. What's the answer? How do we fight an unfair and corrupt machine? I wish the hell I knew. All I do know is that sooner or later there has to be a end to this craziness. It makes me very sad that there are so many wonderful citizens in this country who think the same way, and are, like you and me, unable to do anything. To me, it's kind of like being chained to a tree and you have to watch your children drown and you can't do anything to help them.
