the latest reports indicated that he has confessed, during interrogation by us law enforcement officers and not through any sort of heavy-handed tactics.
I think he is some nut that wants his 30 minutes of fame. There are alot of things that he said he did that goes against the evidence. I dont think he did it either.

Kill him anyway just to get him out of the gene pool.
Something tells me he did not do it...I feel this case is going to make a mockery of some departments...Certain things do not add up...We'll see how it goes....
This case already made a mockery of the departments. Problem was each department wanted to use this case to make themself look good. They wanted to solve it themself. So instead of cooperating with the feds and each other, they instead withheld information and crucial evidence from each other. This case could have been solved a long time ago if everyone had worked together and cooberated their info.
I don't think that Karr committed the murder. Sure, he is definitely a sick fuck but there are a lot of things that don't add up in my eyes.
Karr very well may have first known the family in the Atlanta area but then to travel from Atlanta to Colorado years later to kill the girl seems far fetched. How would he have found the family, breached the doors or windows, abducted the child, left a ransom note, killed the child and then later bring her body BACK INTO the house to be found in an area previously searched by both the family and the cops? Think about it for a minute....
On the matter of the ransom note. How would Karr know the exact amount of Mr. Ramsey's yearly bonus without some insider information from someone such as the wife? I doubt that info would have come from Mr. Ramsey, much less their nine year old son. The note itself would be to present a reason for the child's abduction but the money was not at issue since it would never get to the point of being paid anyhow. Consider this....why would Karr leave a ransom note for a child that he planned to kill? It doesn't make any sense.
Then we have the fact that the ransom note was found on the kitchen staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom area. The child's mother, Pat Ramsey, wakes up and supposedly finds the ransom note for her six year old child but calls the cops FIRST and THEN wakes her husband up to tell him? Doesn't that seem a bit odd? Most people would have been screaming in fright and checking their daughter's bedroom to see if she was there. In the process, screaming for their spouse to wake up as well. Then the body is found in an area previously searched by the cops hours before. Evidently, someone had to place the body there AFTER this timeframe. That means someone with free access to the home.
Lastly, we have the forensic report of the child's wounds. Strangulation (or near strangulation) with some form of a garot wire setup plus a fatal head blow which caved in a large portion of the child's skull with some type of blunt object (pipe, baseball bat, etc...). Now to me, it seems odd that someone would attempt two forms of murder at the same time on a victim. Strangulation is an intimate and usually sexually related crime, whereas a fatal head blow is more of a get the job done quick type of crime. They are very different methods of killing someone that almost always consist of a differing mindset.
I think that there are two possibilities here. One was that Karr was onsite and HELPED to commit the murder of the little girl. The other was that Karr was setup as a patsy to take the blame by Pat Ramsey, the girl's mother. The first scenario would entail a kidnap attempt with a predetermined outcome of the girl's death at some point. The child molester gets the girl and the mother gets the miney and gets rid of the girl, who I feel, that she felt no love for her. I believe that the mother projected herself and aspirations onto this little girl and at the same time, felt jealousy and contempt for the child. She was masquerading such feelings as love when she touted the little girl about to the various beauty pagents and dressed her up in all sorts of stage outfits. A guy like Karr could have approached her at one of these beauty pagents in Atlanta and she realized that a creep like Karr could be quite useful in the future. Hence, the correspondence between the two parties.
Let's assume that Karr's travel and spending habits in the days surrounding Jon Benet Ramsey's death all point to him being in Colorado at that time for a second. This has not yet been clarified by law enforcement but for the sake of argument, let's say he was there that morning. So, Karr kidnaps the child and attempts to strangle her while the mother is preparing the place for the cover story. The mother comes into the basement and sees this taking place but it's not quick enough for her and decides to just finish her off with a blow to the skull. After all, she is not the one who is deriving psycho-sexual stimulation from a slow strangulation of a little girl like Karr would have done. Presumeably she hates the child, so she just wants it over and done with. Now, they need to hide the body until the cops can properly check the story out and she can establish an alibi via her own unsuspecting husband. Karr takes the body somewhere nearby and waits until the proper time then brings her back into the basement where she is convieniently found dead on the floor. He takes off. The mother having established an alibi sends the husband back to take another look and viola!, he finds his little girl's body and the national media runs with the story.
In the latter version, Karr simply is a poser wannabe who was told enough about the various details of the murder by the mother so that he can visualize himself there and eventually, provide details of the crime scene. The mother escapes a trial due to her plausible deniability but eventually dies of cancer. The signature VICTORY! and the initials that Karr supposedly used on his correspondence could have easily been taken and used by the mother of the little girl to further implicate him and deflect suspicion from her and her family. Either way, it is highly probable that the mother was directly involved in the death of her own daughter and the father was most likely not involved in any aspect of the crime.
IMO, there will be no hard evidence that Karr actually committed the murder of the little girl, even if the DNA found on the scene turns out to be his. We won't know the results of the testing for several weeks yet. If anything, it may place him at the scene but that certainly doesn't place a weapon in his hand nor does it explain the ransom note amount that could only have been related to him by the mother. The handwriting of the note doesn't even match Karr's script. The mother WILL eventually be further implicated in this dastardly crime. It's too bas that she's already dead and can't testify or take accountability if she is determined to be legally found guilty.
PI, don't take this wrong because I respect your opinoins, but you are really focused on the conspiracy theory. It could simple be that Karr paid some low level fed to slowly get info for him as to not draw attention, but have absolutely nothing to do with it.
That's cool, Shibby. Conspiracy is defined as an agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action. Murder falls well within this category.
I thought a lot about these latest developments. Think of it this way....wouldn't you say almost anything to get out of a Thailand prison, especially if convicted of child pornography there? A US prison (even for a child murderer) would be considered almost a country club in comparison, yes? I have friends who live in Thailand and law enforcement is definitely not someone that you would want attention from there- even if you are innocent.
Also, although I don't have the figures in front of me right now, the highest percentage of child murders are perpetrated by the same children's parents or a very close relative. Moreso than from an outsider.
So here are the real questions that we should be asking: Why would Karr leave a ransom note at all and then kill the child only to return the body to the scene of the crime hours later? It would be in Karr's best interest NOT to leave clues as to who or why the child was abducted. If the sicko WAS in love with the child then why would he strangle her and then bash her head in? One would assume that he would try to indoctrinate the child into believing that he loved her and then do whatever sick child porn stuff that people like him do. When you consider these things the story makes little sense. That is until you include the mother in the murder scenario.
It looks like Karr was planning and starting to undergo a sex change operation while in Thailand. It is highly unlikely that a sex change candidate would kill a little girl (or any little girl) that he seems to idolize and perhaps even identify with. The plot thickens...it won't be long now until we know what the DNA evidence states. Again, he probably wasn't even there when she died. If he was, he likely didn't kill her.
