Brilliant film! It's been out for a while I rent it every year or two - just a great movie! If any of you are even remotely into number theory - it's a must see.

Too chaotic for me. It has a big following, but I didn't care for it. I don't see what the big fascination is or what makes it 'brilliant.'

Seen it, it was made for pratically nothing.

I thought it was a well done film, did justice to theme.

U need to be in that frame of mind, cause it is chaotic to a degree.

I just saw it for the first time. For quite some time I have wondered how big of a part mathematics really plays in our world, and was unaware of number theory. So, I guess you could say I have been interested in it for quite some time now, without knowing the proper title for it. Anyways, I thought the movie was pretty good, but I am unsure of some things. For one, what is the plot or moral of the film, if there is one at all? To me, I took it as don't try too hard to figure out and get too obsessed with unanswerable questions and that some things take more than a lifetime to understand and you have to accept that. Also, the last scene with Max and the little girl sitting on the bench: Is he supposed to be dead, and that scene is symbolzing his heaven, or blissful final thought?
