Very sad. I find myself in much more grief then I would have ever thought. All the respect in the world to him and his family.

He was so much fun to watch on tv. Seemed like a great guy too!!! My thoughts are with his friends and family.

I absolutely loved to watch Steve Irwin on tv. I'm saddened by the loss of such an individual. My heart goes out to Terri and their two babies.

From my understanding PI, it wasn't the poison from the barb that killed him, but the hole it made in his heart.

I'm with you. You always think of world famous people as invincible, like they're always going to be there. Very sobering.

Agreed. I also am surprised at how it has affected me. A true loss.

I also agree. My wife is like, "Well, you had to expect that something like that was going to happen to him." Well, yeah, but it wasn't supposed to happen, he was invincible. He faced the threat of death and didn't seem afraid of it. I think a part of us all admired that.
