  • This breaks my heart..

News like this is so very sad and yet at the same time it lets me know that there are still things in this world that are worth a damn. That dog had a heart bigger then most humans. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking of the love he had for his family...

I just read the title and I couldn't bring myself to read the rest. It's very touching, but I couldn't read the details.

everyone hates dogs when they attack but those guide dogs and other trained dogs are amazing, you see them on packed trains leading a blind person through the crowd

This past summer I got a chance to visit where they train these dogs they're amazing. I feel sorry for the owner because if something would happen to my dog I would go crazy.

Moral of the story: Don't have a cat.

                  I second that!!! ^

I love it in Meet The Parents when DeNiro says to Stiller "so you prefer an emotionally shallow animal?" Let's be serious- cats are sneaky and NOT loveable. They're not waiting at the door for you when you get home.

I would go bonkers if something happened to our dogs...Isn't it so amazing though, how smart dogs really are? They dream like we do, etc. I would love to know what a dog dreams about.

Me too. I love to watch them sometimes when they are napping and their paws are flinching and they wimper. Makes me wonder what is going on. My 2 JRT's are my 4-legged furry kids and if they were in a house fire, you can bet your ass I will be going in to get them.

Awesome. I love when people say they love dogs. My dogs are my babies. They make me smile & make me cry just as much as my own daughter does. The bond and love you can share with a dog is amazing. I don't trust people who don't like dogs.

I seen a show once, could have been Oprah, where a lady who frequently had epileptic fits had a guide dog that knew her so well, it sensed when she was about to have an attack, and would warn her. So therefor she could prepare for the attack by moving away from the stove, sharp objects etc etc. Within 15 minutes of the dog warning her by barking like crazy, she would have an attack, but was able to position herself into a safe situation so she couldnt be seriously harmed!.. Amazing!

Villa-Love the AB's. I had one that just recently passed away, but got a new puppy two weeks ago. I'd never have another kind of dog. Bullies kick ass!

Think I remember that. Cat people say dogs are dumb...all I want to say is..Let's see your cat warn you about seizure, or sniff out a bomb, or drugs. Not gonna happen.
