If you don't have kids, you may not know what I'm talking about. But adults acting that way for kids gives me an uneasy feeling. Maybe there are some adults out there with a genuine heart, but I can't trust adults like that.

They are creeping people all the way to the bank, apparently. The Wiggles grossed $34.5 million in 2004. According to Wikipedia, "The Wiggles are particularly popular in their native Australia. They are currently the nation's highest-earning entertainers. According to an April 2006 survey published in the Australian media, The Wiggles grossed more in 2005 than AC/DC and Nicole Kidman combined." :hmmm:Originally posted by ShibbyIf you don't have kids, you may not know what I'm talking about. Well then you get into the gray area that cartoons present - they teach SO many terrible things in cartoons that you don't even know are there - cartoons are typically more violent than things you and I watch and some of them teach some pretty strange things about sexuality that you may not even be able to pick up on without paying close attention to like a child entranced on them. There are a LOT of good shows out there though and in defense of the Doodlebops - I don't think they teach anything bad or have any terrible hidden messages - they just creep ME out - kids love them though - I even know some crazy parents who take their kids to the concerts etc - wtf...Originally posted by meat12I think i'd rather my kids watch cartoons than that weird ass shitLast edited by coffee-guy; 10-18-06, 06:26 PM.

I hate how kids shows now treat children as though they're stupid. Kids pick up stuff pretty quick. Maisy is just about the most retarded cartoon for kids that I've ever seen. The characters just make noises. They don't even talk. Kids are going to learn from whatever you expose them to. Expose them to stupid kids shows and they're going to learn from that. Expose them to things that will stimulate their minds and they're going to learn from that. I think that parents today rely on television to raise their children.Originally posted by fog_hat1981Don't even get me started...
Throw in the Doodlebops and Disney as a whole starts to creep me out....
