So I record grades and stuff for a teacher hear at the school. In one of the classes (Concepts of Fitness) they write a short paper each week over the different sections. The sections cover a range from mental healthness, healthy relationship, to physical health. The topics given are kind of broad so that the students can implement there life into what the topics mean to them. Anyways I was reading these papers that the student wrote by collecting info from the chapter. The title given to write about is "Nutrition Facts and Proper Nutrition". Here are some of the things written:
"In general a healthy diet will play a major part in ensuring good health. Consuming an array of foods will help guarantee good nutrition. Fat, espeacailly saturated fat, and bad cholestorol should also be used sparingly, seeing as cholesterol and fat clogs up your artiries, increasing your risk of stroke and heart attack. Food in general plays a huge part in everyone's health and because of this, what food we eat should be selected with careful consideration to our health. Like for instance, lean meat, fish, and poultry with no skin, is much healthier than beef. Also dry beans a peas are good choices if more protein is desired, and trimming all visible fat off meat is also helpful in a healthy diet. Sodium and salt shouldn't be eaten unless necessary, but if it is necessary, avoid shaking salt on food. Cook with low or no salt, or use herbs, spices, etc. to flavor food.
Everyone needs differnt things because everyone is different, and in saying that, women and men also have different needs. For example, women need toconsume three dairy products per day to get their recommended calcium. This can, unfortunately, lead to weight gain and kidney stones." (written by a woman)

This one starts with just giving stats and then talks about the food groups. Then his opinions start here:
"Each food group has a specific amount that you should eat daily. The bad thing is that a lot of people don't do this everyday because it is very time consuming thing. In the world of fast food it is easier to go get something from McDonalds than eat properly."
Then he goes on to write some of the "stats" given in the previous piece I have above.
----------------------------------------------
This one is exactly what he wrote. You can easily tell the focus of his paper:
"Nutrition is an important part of everyday life in people throughout the world. The people that focus on their health and eat right they are much more likely to live longer than those that aren't. Eating right is an important part of staying healthy. Eat fresh. Uncooked or canned vegetables and fruite every day will not fail. Once you heat a vgetable to over 120F degrees, the enzymes they contain begin to break down. These enzymes aid the digestion process, which forms the central part of good health. There are other ways to get enzymes in your diet, but eating fresh fruts and veggies remains the best way.
A great way to enjoy your daily dose of enzymes comes by "juicing". This has become something of a health craze as of late, and a great one at that. To juice, you simply turn the juicer on and stuff your fruites and veggies down the chute to fill your cup. Fresh fruit and veggie juice is delicious, and it will really help improve your health in many little ways. Try combining different juice "partneres", including oranges and carrots. They go well together and the vitamins and minerals in fresh fruit and veggie juice can help give your skin a healthier, more youthful tone. The anti-oxidants they offer overflow with other health benefits too.
Another great benefit to a good diet is lean meats. These types of meats are chicken, pork, venison, and turkey. These are better when they are cooked with a grill. This helps get rid of a lot of unwanted fats and such not wanted. These are all great ways to help nutrition and help a person live a better lifestyle."
