I know what you mean. They were my team when I first started watching football when I was young (I lived in Dallas). Then Jerry Jones started to piss me off and I gave up on then. I found a guy named Brett Favre that I becam a huge fan of. GB is my team, but there is always this place in my heart for the Cowboy's.

ya, i will always root for the cowboys but i wouldn't say they are my team anymore.

i figure since the Jets are on tv 24/7 here in central jersey, they are pretty much New Jersey's team. (Giants are NYC's team) they are and underdog and haven't been to the super bowl since 1969. they play with heart. i have watched them for years. the jets are my new team! :)

That sounds just like me except I've picked up a few more teams I pull for now just because I like watching them play - they just don't replace my love for GB - however, I think that when Favre leaves it will be hard to be such a fan...

I will always be a GB fan. Favre showed me the way, but it's more than just him that I love about the team. The fans are great and I like how the fans own the team.
