I guess he got all pissed at the premier because the movie made her look stupid so he threw a fit about it. But she signed on for the movie knowing she would be the butt of the joke. I don't know the details and I haven't seen the movie, but they talk about it on the radio everyday.

I didn't think they portrayed her as anything negative - weird...

Like Pam Anderson isn't the butt of a lot of jokes - he's gross anyway...

Borat to blame for Pamela Anderson, Kid Rock divorce
BY: Actress Archives | Tuesday, November 28, 2006

In just under four months, Pamela Anderson has gone from wedding vows to divorce papers with no reason being given for the rapid change of heart. It has been reported that the demise of Pamela Anderson's second marriage has come from an unlikely source: the fictional Kazakh reporter, Borat Sagdiyev.

Both Robert "Kid Rock" Ritchie and Pamela Anderson filed divorce papers early Monday morning, with Kid Rock having his papers stamped 53 minutes before Pamela Anderson could get hers to the courthouse. Both divorce papers cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce, but they couldn't agree on the date of separation, as Pamela Anderson claims November 21 was the date of separation while Kid Rock claims the marriage lasted until November 26. Now, the New York Post is reporting that an inside source has named Sacha Baron Cohen's new Borat film as the reason for the split.

The New York Post has reported that "final straw was a bellicose blowup Rock threw at Universal Studio chief Ron Meyer's Beverly Hills house two weeks ago." The report heads into detail, quoting a friend of Pamela Anderson's as saying "Ron Meyer held a screening of 'Borat' at his house for a bunch of people, including Pam and Bob. It was the first time Bob had seen the movie, and, well, he didn't like it." The Borat film depicts a fictional Kazakh reporter, Borat Sagdiyev, who falls in love with Anderson and travels across America to find her and make Anderson his wife. The New York Post's Page Six quoted the source as revealing "Bob started screaming at Pam, saying she had humiliated herself and telling her, 'You're nothing but a whore! You're a slut! How could you do that movie?' - in front of everyone. It was very embarrassing." The quote continues "Pam thought he could have a sense of humor about the movie. She was in on the gag from the very beginning and loved doing the movie. And on the eve of what was supposed to be a very positive thing, he made it an awful night."

That Borat screening seems to have chilled the air between Pamela Anderson and Bob Ritchie, as the couple's honeymoon period seemed to end, and the problems began to set in. Page Six's source was quoted as saying, "Ever since that night, it has been icicles between them, Bob is just a very unhappy and angry man. Pam is very disenchanted and sad. You know, there are reasons why she never married him before. Those reasons disappeared while they were together on a boat in St. Tropez, but she knows now that they never went away. The reality is he is an insecure, angry man."

Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock were legally married on August 3 in Beverly Hills, though they held the first of their three wedding ceremonies in St. Tropez, a popular resort location on the French Riviera. Anderson and Ritchie also held a wedding ceremony at Nashville's famous honky-tonk bar, Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. e couple had said that a fourth wedding was planned for Kid Rock's home city of Detroit, but rather than a full-on ceremony, the couple chose to celebrate their marriage, but not re-create it.

Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson began dating as early as 2000, though in 2002, Anderson and Ritchie became engaged, only to call it off in 2003. They reunited earlier this year, becoming engaged and getting married this summer. While Anderson was filming Blonde and Blonder with Denise Richards in Vancouver, Canada, Anderson reportedly suffered a miscarriage, and, through her rep, asked that "everyone respect her privacy during this difficult time," according to E Online. While the marriage between Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson was Ritchie's first marriage, Pamela Anderson was previously married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee from 1995 until 1998, and Anderson and Lee had two children together: Brandon, 10 and Dylan, 8. Robert "Kid Rock" Ritchie has a 13-year-old son of his own, Bob Jr., with former lover Kelley South Russell.
