over priced, I'll stick with my ps2 for a while, won't be able to get ps3 over in uk for a good while anyway, but I'd rather wait and see how good it is, how much the games are etc,

meanwhile I'm trying to complete splinter cell rogue agent at the moment on ps2

I did:) And the messed up thing about it is this; check this out...They made me sign a document saying that if I don't PU my PS3 within the 1st 4hrs of the store opening; they will sell my shit and give me my refund...Which to me makes no sense at all...I already bought the damn thing...But I will be there, no worries:)

I don't know how you did this. I'm sure you're not the only person that could've preordered & with only 20 per store if all had been preordered, then there would be no need for a rush when the stores open.

I've heard these are going for as high as 2-3K on Ebay.

Well I think your stats(on the pre-order per store) is way off...They're having more than 20 from what I was told...

Not only is he right about only 10-20 per store, but it looks like there is even going to be less then that. there was supposed to be 400,000 units released in america on the 17th. now they think there will only be 150,000. don't be surprised if you cant get it on the 17th even with your preorder.

I've read that most game designers haven't even been able to take advantage of the better graphics and video so most games will look much similar to those from the ps2

Im going to try to get 2 that night but its not looking good, their is a major cold front coming (I nearly froze last year), and I have read the store is only getting 20 ps3. Last year they got like 60 xbox 360's and I was number 47, I got their at around 8:00pm or so, so im assuming the line starts at 5:00 or 6:00pm this year :eek:

A radio station here in Austin had one that was delivered by a rep this morning. The deal was that he would give it to one of the personalities on the show if he would kiss another guy just on the lips.

The guy couldn't bring himself to do it, so they had to take it outside and destroy it. The main host said they would just give it away but because it was a promotional item they would get in big trouble if they did, so make it 399,999 PS3's in the US.
