Georges St.Pierre destroys Matt Hughes!!!

Wow, what an ass-kicking that was. St.Pierre was so much quicker than Matt Hughes...teed off on him at will. I think Hughes may have landed a total of 3 jabs for offense...that's it. The way St.Pierre was able to catch Hughes' kicks and then punch him in the face while Hughes was hopping around (twice), and the way he was so easily able to avoid letting Hughes take him down...it was like a lion toying with a pussycat. I had St.Pierre picked to win this fight, but I never thought he'd do it so EASILY. That good, and only 25 years old; 'Rush' St.Pierre could hold that belt for a DAMN LONG TIME.

I agree...This wasn't even remotely close....I was amazed at how fast he was, Hughes had no answer to anything St.Pierre did....If he continues to fight like this I don't know how he's going to lose. He was exremely impressive to say the very least!

Yea that did suck for Matt, but St.Pierre was very obviously the better fighter. I don't see him losing for a long long long time. I don't think there is any welterweight that can match the speed that he showed last night.

I missed it but I'm anxiously waiting for my download to finish so I can watch it. I'm glad Matt lost and that it was an obvious ass whoopin. He needed to be knocked down a few nothces. He was convinced that his training and physical strength far exceeded any of his peers. I like champions like Pierre who are fierce yet humble.

I wasn't quite sure if GSP would pull it off, but I wasn't quite sure that hughes could totally win it either. GSP is solid. He's really prime right now. I can't see anyone coming out and taking him down. UFC's ww division is stacked though so you never know.
