  • Domino's Brooklyn Style Pizza...

Has anyone else had this yet....

I'm sure B or someone will tell me it is crap compared to the real thing but since I've never had the "real thing" I'm at least happy Domino's has introduced me to the possibilities - hell - this stuff would make me drive all the way up there just to try it if it's half as good as the real deal......

        :)

NY/NJ pizza is like soul food. Soul food cant be made by some company. Its something that comes from the heart, its something that comes from generations and generations of family's. Some of the pizza shops around here have been around for 80-100 years! These pizzas are still made in the same brick ovens. These pizzas are made by people that have been doing it there whole life. Few places around here have guys making pizzas that are like 65-70 years old and they have been doing it since they were a kid.

Now you tell me if you think Domino's can make that kind of pizza in there steel ovens made by a bunch of 17 years old clowns. Get the fuck outta here! :)

Same thing goes for cheese steaks. I have been all around the country and I can honestly say that if you have never had a cheese steak or a pizza in Philly, Jersey, or New York City, you have never eaten one at all.

Same goes for BBQ and the south. Nobody in jersey or the North for that matter can claim they have had a good BBQ Brisket or any kind of BBQ if they have not had BBQ from the south. Southern BBQ cannot be beat. NYC/NJ Italian food cannot be beat. In other words, keep the styles of food where they are supposed to be! :)

Had it last night. What a crock of shit! It's just a regular ass pizza cut into big slices. Someone from Brooklyn wouldn't wipe their ass with it!

Not really but Pitts is known for other types of food.

The Primanti Bros sandwich is something you can only get in pitts.

Grilled Meat, Cole Slaw, Hot Fried Egg, Fresh Tomato, and French fries between 2 slabs of Italian bread.

You will have to try it shib. Let us know if it is any good or not.
