My daughter has to have surgery to correct this problem. I have researched it quite a bit and have had 3 ortho's look and they all say she needs this surgery right away.
My question is this - Is there anyone who's child has had this surgery? Has anyone on this board had this surgery.
My main concern is growth, which no doctor an give a clear answer. My daughter has not had a growth spurt.
If you have any history of this please let me know. My daughter is pretty active but doctors believe all the steriods she was on for her asthma when younger could have contributed to her condition.
Thanks for any info. Again I have done tons of research on net and with doctor visits. I am mainly concerned with growth info after surgery was done.
