What's the talk in Chicago about Grossman? Do you think Griese should start?

Everyone wants him benched, Griese can atleast manage a higher qb rating than a 1.3. I think if they do stick with him they need to change their playbook to the Kyle Orton playbook of last year. Shorts slants, basically nothing too complicated. The guy just wants to bomb the ball down the field every play. All he needs to do is get them 10 - 13 points on offense and their defense and special teams can handle the rest. Eveyone is calling for Grossmans head. It's an uncomfortable 10-2. I felt like they lost after the game last week. They better not let this defense go to waste. They are too good and only gonna be for a few more years.Originally posted by ShibbyWhat's the talk in Chicago about Grossman? Do you think Griese should start?

Yeah but I think after teams figured the guy out things changed. He can be great but atleast right now his decision making is questionable. I just think Griese could manage the ball better right now for them and not make as many mistakes. If he blows this season for then he'll go down as another Cade McNown. If they are gonna keep him in they need to make some playbook changes.Originally posted by ShibbyIsn't it hard to say Griese should go in, when one way or another Grossman has been a big piece of this year. Isnt' there a reason why this year is so different behind Rex, instead of an Orton...

I don't think it matters, they won't bench Grossman. I like Griese, but Grossman is a a big play threat. I'm more concerned about their defense right now.Originally posted by ShibbyDo you think that Griese's two interceptions last week, helps Grossman?

It almost looked like GB had Grossman figured out last week. Knowing that he is just waiting to throw the ball and has an itchy trigger, they baited him into those interceptions. I think a couple other teams tried that out and succeded later in the season too.

Yeah at the start to the season teams didn't have much tape on him. Just like Romo after a few games they knew what to look for. I'm just hoping he can play smart for a few weeks. I'm actually pulling for them to pick up Jake Plummer in the off season.Originally posted by ShibbyIt almost looked like GB had Grossman figured out last week.
