I just heard it's a high school when they went back to the story but heard it was an elemantary school again. But when I originally thought it was a highschool when I first heard it, it didn't grab my attention much. But once I heard that young children could be in danger it struck me kind of hard. It's sad that we are now some what numb to the thought of danger in the high schools.

I've been at work so I don't know anything more. I wasn't saying I'm numb to the extent I don't care, but I'm not paying as close attention to the whole story. It's out of control and I'm sick of hearing about these high schools in trouble and no one doing anything more than reporting it.

No bro, I didn't mean that you don't care and yes, it's certainly a crazy world we live in. I think it all starts at home and with your up bringing. Makes you wonder what kind of parents some of these people have and just exactly what went wrong some where down the line to make people turn out the way they do. I thank God all the time that my parents raised me the way they did and I hope to be able to do the same for my children some day.

Sometimes when I go to the health department to get my son's shots, I see how some of the kids act. I sit and wonder if those are going to be the kids that fill our jails when they get older. When I was at the DHS office there were three girls in there talking about the guys they had a baby with. These girls were teenagers and one was talking about getting her tubes tied as soon as she got the money. She would never have another kid. This is all with her cute little 3 year old girl sitting next to her, slightly curld up in the chair, being quite. It almos broke my heart when this little girl looked at me, I gave her a little smile, and her eyes had a look of wanting to be safe. I don't really know where I am going with this, just that it is sad that any kid can't be safe in school or at home these days, and this recent generation of teens and into the mid twenties parents (which I am in that range) are embarassing.

i agree man. every now and then when i see stuff like this on the news or here about shooting after shooting by TEENS it frightens me...or even if i look around to see my friends and notice how there home environment is and how they are treated and how they treat their parents...its sickening to know that these kids are my peers and in my generation and most of them that i know or have known personally have been involved or still are involved in doing rediculous things (drugs, crimes, etc) i started to seperate myself from the ones who just got too deep into that shit because their lives were goin no where fast and i didnt want to get dragged down. and the ones that dont do it as much i just make sure they dont push me into anything i dont wanna do...i also think to myself when i look around to see SO MANY doing drugs. its crazy how many kids are doing drugs these days, you wouldnt believe me if i told you. and its done like if its not a big deal. then i think....some day these kids are gonna be running this country...
it just scares the shit out of me...but ofcourse there are the good ones, im not saying everyones bad :D

no doubt...that is horrible. Worthless people like that should be shot. Tons of people that want kids and would love kids can't have them...yet it seems every loser in this world has too many & continues to dumb down our genetic pool.Originally posted by fog_hat1981:bawl:
