Silva knocked out Lieberman (who had never been knocked out previously) in a matter of seconds and crushed Rich Franklin in a matter of minutes. Both of them were very skilled and respected fighters. Silva's ground skills are equally as good as his striking skills, hence his nickname 'the spider' that he earned in Pride.

Are there equally skilled or potentially better fighters out there that can qualify for MW...absolutley...is it Lutter...not a chance!

Nope, I'm not kidding, I think if he's fit Travis is a tough opponent, stronger than Franklin IMO, and if Anderson puts him in a Thai clinch the minute he raises a knee he'll get sweeped and taken down for some GnP.

Did you mean Silva knocked out Leben? yeah he did and IMO Leben is a can, it was just chance that he hadn't been knocked out before.

Rich Franklin was taken by suprise by the spider and openly said he underestimated Silva's strength in the clinch, he basically suffreed a badly broken nose and couldn't continue.

Anyway I can't wait to see that stretched version of P Diddy get snapped, his jackets and demenour annoy me

lol, yeah Leben. Lutter has fought 4 times in the UFC and lost twice. His wins were over Beastman and Cote. Beastman has big muscles and thats about it and Cote hasn't won any of his 4 UFC boughts. And from what I've seen personally, Lutter is a boring fighter who scrapes by. From what I have seen of Silva (like him or not) his fights are exciting and entertaining to watch. He was underestimated by a lot of people (especially Franklin) and shocked them all in dramatic fashion. But like I always say when I'm discussing fighting, anything can happen and it only takes one on the button to put the lights out. So I guess we'll see ;)
