Try using Internet Explorer and see if the problem persists. I like the new version of IE better than Firefox anyway.

You always claim that about FF compared to IE but I work in the IT field and have used IE for a good 15 yrs and have tried FF just because I like to try new things in the tech industry and compare to what I am used to using and to be quite honest there isn't anyting that FF offers me or my clients that IE7 doesn't offer. As a matter of fact there are times that a client will have FF as their main browser and I have to load IE on there because FF doesn't allow me run certain programs. So in a nutshell...you're biased and full of shit.....that is all.. ;)

if you do a search on google of Firefox vs IE its seems pretty clear that people prefer firefox over ie. i like the look and feel of firefox over ie. they had the tabed browsing before ie and so on. i have gotten used to firefox though so yes I may be biased.

I'll give it a try again, but I forget how to turn off the auto fill thing when you type something into the search field. It annoys me so much when that list drops down of everything you have previously typed into that field.

I'm no expert here but I think it's Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete etc...

Yea, that's what I thought and it seems to still bring all the crap up.

Well IE keeps going back web pages automatically somehow when using my touch pad.

I fixed my firefox to open maximized each time. I had to right click my shortcut, go to properties, and set the "run" pull down menu to maximize.

I don't have a "lock the toolbars" option though. I'm trying to find the fix, but if anyone (blm) can help...
