I agree with everything you said...this politically correct wimp society we live in sickens me. While we coddle kids and don't even allow them to scrap out their differences on the schoolyard any more without calling the cops, other countries around the world are instilling toughness and determination. I just watched a History Channel documentary called, The True Story of the Bridge on the River Kwai. Those prisoners build a section of the Thailand/Burma railroad that was over 200 miles long thu some pretty harsh terrain. All by hand. You'll have to find the documentary and watch it in order to grasp just how horrible conditions were for the Japanese prisoners of war. Americans, Australians, British, Polish even Thai slaves. 10s of thousands died building that stretch of railroad. It's hard to believe that anyone could physically survive in those conditions let alone retain their sanity. IMO, our WW2 vets are some of the most courageous men and women in the history of our country. Those guys kicked ass and took names.
