Well stand he did...he knocked Tim on his ass w/the first punch in the first round then continued to absolutely man handle Sylvia for the full 5 minutes of all 5 rounds. And he looked real good doing it!

I was surprised at some of the results.

I thought Bobalu would have done much better, but he got brutally knocked out by Lambert. He couldn't even stand for the victory arm raise. He had to sit on a stool in the background after they woke him up.

I knew the Franklin/MacDonald fight could have gone either way, but Franklin smashed him in the face at will and defended MacDonalds take downs perfectly. He ground pounded him towards the end of the second round to the point MacDonald couldn't walk to his corner w/out using the fence so his corner threw in the towel.

I really thought Hughes would have been more dominant over Lytle. He controlled him the whole fight, but he didn't over power him and toss him around like he used to w/his opponents.

He's dopey looking for sure, but he does have skill. You don't become the HW champion in UFC by mistake. I don't think he had anyone as well rounded and adaptive as Randy, but he's beat some tough guys.

That's why fighting is so intriguing to me. You can own somebody for 14min 30sec of a 15min fight and then have your world turned upside down w/one punch on the button.

I like what he said in the pre-fight interview about letting ego get in the way of your focus. I knew his ego would be his downfall. I can't wait to see him and Silva fight again. I'll still will bet against him, but I don't see him getting man-handled this time around. However, I don't see him ever thrashing Silva the way Silva thrashed him. Is he capable of beating him...abslolutely. Is he capabale of completely dominating him...I don't think so.

Maybe. I think franklin phucked around on that fight. I think he got surprised real bad, and once he figured out how deep the shit was, it was too late for him. This time he'll be prepared. I think that's the only reason silva was able to thrash him cause franklin just didn't know what the hell was going on.
